Candle Sand
  • Strong shelf appeal – an unusual candle format that gives customers something new to pick up and ask about.

  • Customisable candle experience – pour the scented wax into a suitable heat-resistant vessel, add the wick and style it to suit the setting.

  • Ready to get started – each 300g pack includes four candle wicks, so there is no need for the customer to search for them separately.

  • Around 60 hours of burn time – a useful value point for customers and a good reason for retailers to give the range shelf space.

  • Easy to gift and cross-sell – works naturally alongside candle vessels, home fragrance and decorative giftware.

  • Simple to demonstrate in-store – one made-up display quickly shows customers how Candle Sand works.

Pour. Style. Relight. That is really the idea.

Candle Sand takes the familiar scented candle and removes the fixed jar. The wax comes as thousands of small granules, so the customer can pour it into a suitable heat-resistant vessel, add a wick and decide for themselves what the finished candle looks like.

There is no wax to melt and no candle-making equipment required. Pour in the Candle Sand, insert a cotton wick leaving approximately 5–10mm exposed above the surface, then light it as you would a normal candle. Trim the wick before each use.

The range is made in England from scented stearic acid wax and has been developed very much as a home-fragrance product, with fragrances described through top, heart and base notes rather than simply giving each one a basic scent name.

That helps on the shop floor. Customers who already enjoy perfume-inspired and more complex home fragrances have something familiar to explore, while the unusual candle format gives the retailer an immediate conversation starter.

Perhaps the nicest part is that the container is not permanently tied to the candle. Once one arrangement is finished, the customer can use another suitable vessel or refill a favourite one with Candle Sand.

A glass container one week, something different for a dinner table the next. Same idea, rather more freedom than the average candle in a jar.
